New Photo Studio in Dumbo

Great news, Your Hollywood Portrait is moving to a brand new and bigger studio in Dumbo (Brooklyn).

If you book a photo shoot you can keep a few hours to visit the neighborhood or grab a coffee in the trendy coffee shops nearby.

A few words about Dumbo:

The area was originally a ferry landing, characterized by 19th- and early 20th-century industrial and warehouse buildings. First becoming a haven for artists. Dumbo had become Brooklyn’s most expensive neighborhood, as well as New York City’s fourth-richest community overall this is owing in part to its large concentration of technology startups and its close proximity to Manhattan.

Trendy Dumbo’s cobblestone streets and converted Brooklyn warehouse buildings are the backdrop for independent boutiques, high-end restaurants, and trendy cafes. Near the waterfront, St. Ann’s Warehouse, in a former tobacco factory, is the heart of a thriving performance and gallery scene. The north end of Brooklyn Bridge Park features historic […]

Should I go naked?

LNA

Who are these nude photos for exactly, which photographer should I turn to, how should I get ready? Lots of important questions to ask yourself. Or even to have the feeling of being at the gynecologist office in uncomfortable poses. There are certainly some poses to avoid that will already know, legs too wide apart, finger in the mouth, mouth too open … so, not getting confused between vulgar and sexy is clearly essential.

Make-up too, is very important. Too much and you’ll quickly look like a stripper. Nude photography is very delicate, romantic, sensual and sexy too. From the very beginning, you have to have the will to do it, to achieve […]

The use of shadow can give more character to the image, whereas light without shadow can be soft, be careful not to make things look too bland and commercial. There are several professional brands of lighting designed to better sculpt the perfect […]
